You can then enter that serial number on the Check Coverage page to find your model.

ForcEject is a tiny little tool of about 100KB that simply does what is intended and tries to force your Superdrive to eject its stuck optical disc. To use the ForcEject Tool, download and run it and an icon will appear on your menu bar. Click on the icon to popup a menu and either select to eject an internal or external SuperDrive. You could try something that sometimes works on MacBooks - leave the drive plugged in and restart the computer. As it boots up, hold the eject key down. Head over to the main system folder and follow System Library CoreServices Menu Extras. In there is a file called Eject.menu. Double click it and voila - an eject button shows up in your Menu space, somewhere left of the Spotlight icon. This is especially important for those using optical drives that don't have physical eject buttons, such as the Apple SuperDrive. Press the eject key in the top right corner of the keyboard.
